ABBEY FIT KIT
Many athletes are fortunate enough to be able to ride nearly anything. For those that are sensitive to bike fit though, replicating fit to a new bike or confirming fit after travel can be a challenge involving lots of trial and error.
This set of tools allows accurate and repeatable measurements for saddle height, angle and setback. The accuracy and repeatable measurements also serve as a base to make adjustments to fit.
The magnetic saddle height bullets (8mm and 10mm sizes) ensure you get an accurate center at the bottom bracket by locating in the crank arm fixing bolt or the crank arm preload cap of Shimano caps. This allows you to focus on the smart end of the tape measure at the saddle plate.
Two reference marks on the saddle plate means you can pull a measurement to the exact same spot relative to the nose of the saddle every time. This gives you accuracy down to a single millimeter, enough to satisfy the most particular or injury prone athlete.
The front of the saddle plate is engraved with a ruler (metric of course) to allow you to calculate saddle setback at the saddle. This allows you to drop the plumb bob off the side of the bike and clear all of the bottle cages.
The wide plate has ample room to mount a level, protractor or smart phone for adjusting the angle of the saddle. This is particularly helpful for non traditional saddles like SMP and Adamo. This kit is ideal for cyclists that travel and regularly have to re-assemble their bike, bike fitters and mechanics in the workshop and in the field.
The complete kit includes the saddle plate, Shimano preload crank tool, two saddle height bullets (8mm and 10mm). The Shimano preload crank tool and saddle height bullets can be purchased separately.

ABBEY LEVER SETTER
The lever setter is a unique tool that works in conjunction with our HAG to set brake and shifter levers at the same height from side to side. The tool temporarily replaces the headset top cap and allows you to thread a hanger alignment tool into the lever setter. Then you can use the HAG indicator to set levers the same from one side of the bar to the other. It’s a great little fitting tool to eliminate variables in your bike fit. It’s also great to balance the variations in bends that metal bars sometimes have from one side to the other. Once you’re satisfied with your lever placement simply remove the tool and replace your headset top cap and go ride.
Compatibility:
Requires a star nut or compression plug with a M6x1 thread.
Works with road and mountain shifters and brake levers.
Compatible with most hanger alignment tools on the market.
Recommendations:
It’s advised to use a spacer on top of the stem to help align the lever setter with the steer tube. This will reduce the impact the quality of the cut on the steer tube has on the function of the tool. The supplied threaded stud can be replaced with a longer one if needed.
ABBEY SAW GUIDE
Trimming steer tubes hasn’t gotten any easier on modern bikes. In the search for a super clean look, bikes are routing cables through headsets and steer tubes and it’s made tasks that use to be quick and simple a major time suck. Until now! The unique thing about our Saw Guide is that the clamp is open, so you can slide it around the steer tube instead of having to slide it over the end. It doesn’t sound like that big of a deal but it means you can get an accurate and square cut without taking the fork off the bike and more importantly without taking all the cables out of the bike. Use this tool once for that application and it’s paid for itself. Of course it will work on normal steer tubes as well and give you a nice square cut every time.
The guide is two sided, one side for standard toothed metal cutting blades and the opposite side is wider for abrasive blades used to cut composites. You can also use the guide in a vise like you’re probably use to and it’s pretty compact if you want to travel with it.
Compatible with 1″ and 1.125″ steer tubes
